Lord’s Lambs Child Care occupies the lower level of the Education wing of Lord of Life Lutheran Church located in beautiful Skyline Ranches of Elkhorn. The center includes 6 classrooms encompassing 4,400 square feet, plus an indoor play area and three outdoor age-appropriate play areas including a playground structure for the older children. An interior classroom was built as a storm shelter to accommodate all children in the event of severe weather. A laundry room and staff breakroom are located off the gym area.
Each classroom has both carpeted and tiled floor areas and the east classrooms have window tinting and blinds to temper the morning sun. Shelves, play furniture, cribs, tables, and chairs were all new purchases in 2017. Our meals are heated and portioned in the church kitchen, prepared in house by our Kitchen Manager. The Infant rooms have refrigerators for milk and medication storage. All classrooms have a phone and a security camera, as well as surveillance of the hallway, gym, and playground. A badge-entry security system keeps doors locked at all times.
